Truth Application Ministry was founded in 1992 when three young Christians—Daniel Panford, Frank Williams, and Isaac Newton—met at a Young Peoples Conference held at Accra Academy in Ghana. Inspired by the theme "Meeting God's Need & Fulfilling God's Purpose," they consecrated their lives to the Lord, forming a lasting brotherhood based on Romans 1:16: "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ."

Over the next three decades, despite pursuing different careers across the UK, Nigeria, and Ghana, the trio remained committed to their spiritual calling. They continually sought deeper fellowship and a more significant impact, guided by the words of Jesus in John 21:15-17 and the persistent question, "Do you love me more than these? Feed my lambs and feed my sheep."
